Software Tester / Quality Assurance Specialist role at Jobs via Dice. The client is Kforce Technology Staffing. Location: Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Software Tester/Quality Assurance Specialist will identify, document, and track software and system defects using our defect tracking system
• Create and execute test cases (manual or automated) on our systems to ensure quality and functionality
• Collaborate with the development team to understand features and resolve issues
• Communicate effectively with team members about bugs and system issues
• Maintain a diligent approach to observing and reporting bugs and inconsistencies

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or experience with testing robotics software, embedded systems, or avionics
• 1-2 years of testing experience
• Experience in Linux and Jira; Docker is a plus
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
