Job title

Business Intelligence QA Tester

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans for each type of reporting tool including SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerQuery and Cube testing to ensure output meets user requirements.
  • Develop unit, system, and regression test plans, and effective strategies to allow for shorter and more frequent test cycles.
  • Design and development of test plans in support of all reporting requests following standard SDLC processes and iterative development cycles.
  • Support and execute User Acceptance Test cases working closely with Servicing and Asset Management teams to assist in completing User Acceptance Testing.
  • Support end to end testing of reporting data mart to ensure transformations of data meet end user requests.
  • Develop performance testing plans to speed up end user experience on reporting tools.
  • Create QA and testing artifacts (Test Strategy, Test Matrix, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Results) and functional documentations.
  • Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
  • Assist with triage, diagnosis and resolution of issues discovered by Real Estate Business areas throughout User Acceptance.
  • Participate in special projects, providing testing data analytics as needed in support of end business users in real estate.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Equivalent related work experience
  • 3+ years in QA Testing
  • 3+ years in Business Intelligence and data warehousing areas
  • 3+ years in programming and system analysis
  • 3+ years using SQL Server
