Entry-Level Accountant – Great Opportunity for Recent Grads!

Branford, CT | Hybrid Schedule

Our client, a well-established, third-generation family-run business headquartered in Branford, is continuing its rapid growth through recent acquisitions. With a strong presence across the U.S., they’re looking to add Entry-Level Accountants to their team to support continued expansion!

What You’ll Do

• Perform weekly audits to ensure paperwork accuracy at various locations
• Conduct initial reviews of cash over/short reports and escalate variances as needed
• Prepare weekly fuel review reports and investigate discrepancies
• Reconcile gift cards, phone cards, money orders, and other weekly reports
• Assist with month-end close processes including reconciliations for credit cards, loyalty programs, and general ledger accounts
• Support validation of store reports for month-end submissions
• Collaborate with team members and step in as needed to support department functions
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships welcome!)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
