Overview

Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking an Entry Level Engineer to join our team at the Twin Falls factory in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role requires proficiency in ACAD for drafting engineering drawings and offers the opportunity to develop into a project engineer. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments on project development, bidding, installation, commissioning, and generating as-built documentation. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, preferably in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Preferred to have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and be an EIT.
• ACAD 2D and 3D drafting skills.
• Preferred to have 1-3 years’ experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project with the ability to adapt quickly to other software programs.
• Preferred to have experience with P&ID’s, PFD’s, layout drawings, and general arrangement drawings.
