Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and components, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional services needed and provide time estimates for repairs
• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Certified Technician
• ASE Certification required
• Entry-level skills in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and operate diagnostic equipment
