Overview
We’re looking for entry-level leaders who are passionate and ready to collaborate, lead, and give their best every day. In this role, you will coordinate and troubleshoot daily activities of our customer service employees, participate in store management duties and projects, and act as a liaison between different areas of the store to understand our values, business measures, and operations.
You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of customer service-focused team members, ensuring they have the tools and resources to be successful at their jobs. If you love to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment where no two days are the same, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities
- Independently manage store operations between daytime and nighttime hours, acting as key leader and liaison among teams and departments; responsible for opening and/or closing the store as part of a varied weekly schedule
- Partner with department management to prioritize and delegate tasks and ensure Front End/customer checkout operations run efficiently; monitor store traffic, manage the number of open checkout lanes, and assist at the register as needed to reduce customer wait times
- Manage performance of a team of Customer Service employees, providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and employees, championing the company values and standards
- Respond quickly to situations, partnering with store leadership to solve operational challenges
- Participate in and/or lead special projects to enhance the company culture and bring employees together
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery, or retail setting
- Proven ability to multi-task and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a team
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters

Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. The job may involve walking, standing for long periods, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and reaching, with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5–20 pounds, with a maximum of 50 pounds occasionally. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement includes twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens. Indoor work with occasional exposure to cold (33–55°F) near hot equipment and seasonal outdoor temperatures; may use basic tools and equipment such as a computer, handheld telephone, walkie reach/hi-lo, powered pallet jack, and scissors lift.
