Tarkett Official is hiring: Entry Level Laborer in Tualatin

Laborer on installation of running tracks/Tennis Courts.

Key Responsibility Areas (by order of importance):

1. Cleaning and preparation of asphalt/concrete surface to secure polyurethane track material (40%)
2. Use of small hand tools and power equipment in surface preparation and polyurethane installation (20%)
3. Carrying, mixing, and pouring polyurethane to install track surface, adhering to OSHA safety standards (10%)
4. Recovery of excess rubber granules and edge detail trimming of track surface (20%)
5. General site cleanup and demobilization (10%)

Experience: 2-3 years of relevant field experience preferred but not required.

Competencies: Quick learner, able to meet physical demands.

Activities and Duration:

• Occasionally (1-33%): Jumping, Climbing
• Frequently (34-66%): Sitting (when using paver), Standing, Walking, Stooping/Bending, Pushing/Pulling, Squatting, Crawling/Kneeling, Reaching above shoulder, Forearm rotation, Climbing
• Constantly (67-100%): Twisting/Turning, Repetitive hand/wrist movements

Critical Demands (Heavy):

• Material Handling (34-66% of the time): Lifting to waist height up to 50 lbs, Carrying up to 50 lbs

Hand Function:

• Simple grasping, Gross grasping, Fine manipulation, Use of machinery/tools (e.g., forklift, hand tools, drills, grinders)

Environment:

• Heat, Uneven surfaces, Outdoor work (10 hours/day)
