Warehouse Package Handler Job at OnTrac Logistics, Inc. in Salt Lake City

Overview

We are hiring Warehouse Workers / Package Handlers for our Salt Lake City, UT location. Address: 1854 S. 5350 W., Salt Lake City, UT 84104. Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 6:00am-10:00am, or until the end of sort. Start and end times vary each day; on average each shift is between 3 - 3.5 hours. Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate starting at $17.25/hr

Responsibilities

• Be Safe! Safety is our first core value.
• Unload trailers and sort packages by zip codes
• Load trucks for deliveries
• Be a team player – everyone works together to get the job done

Qualifications / Skills

• Ability to stay on your feet while working — this is a great job for someone looking to stay active
• Ability to be dependable, flexible, and reliable
• Ability to Regularly lift, push, pull 25 - 35 lbs. Occasionally carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push or pull up to 150 lbs. using a pallet jack or Gaylords to transport large packages
• Ability to work in the heat and the cold as temperatures vary in the warehouse by season
• Gloves and work boots are recommended
