Mail and Package Handler
Clemson, SC 29634 (onsite)
2 Month Contract
M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Overview

This is a non-customer-facing, fast-paced position responsible for receiving, processing, and sorting student packages and mail. The role requires continuous movement, standing on concrete floors, and regular lifting throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages from FedEx, USPS, Amazon, Client, and other carriers

• Check packages into the tracking system using a computer

• Retrieve and deliver packages to the front for associate distribution

• Sort incoming letter mail into student PO boxes

• Lift packages up to 50 lbs (assistance provided if over)

• Maintain an organized and efficient package room

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• Preferred: experience in mailroom, warehouse, or fast-paced work (e.g., fast food)

• Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and lift for extended periods

• Comfortable working on a concrete floor in a production-style environment

• Able to push/pull carts or equipment on wheels up to 400 lbs (occasionally)

• Good organizational skills and moderate physical dexterity
