OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler Lead. This position oversees the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution. Package Handler Leads train new hires, support business metrics, and uphold company values in collaboration with Area and Operations Managers.

Location: 1260 Collings Dr., Lockbourne, OH 43137

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Sunday – Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (hours subject to change based on business needs).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety protocols, including dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Train and guide Package Handlers, providing hands-on demonstrations and ongoing performance feedback.
• Oversee package handling, sorting, and inspection processes to ensure accuracy, prevent damage, and avoid misroutes.
• Monitor equipment functionality, submit maintenance requests, and manage damaged freight according to company procedures.
• Check in/out third-party drivers, verify credentials, and ensure proper documentation and manifest accuracy.

The Must-Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of industry experience
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred
• Regularly lift, push, pull 25 - 35 lbs; occasionally carry up to 50 lbs and up to 150 lbs with pallet jack or similar equipment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
