Overview

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler Lead. This position oversees the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution. Package Handler Leads train new hires, support business metrics, and uphold company values.

Pay

$18.90 per hour

Shift

Saturday–Wednesday from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety protocols, including dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Train and guide Package Handlers, providing hands-on demonstrations and ongoing performance feedback.
• Oversee package handling, sorting, and inspection processes to ensure accuracy, prevent damage, and avoid misroutes.
• Monitor equipment functionality, submit maintenance requests, and manage damaged freight according to company procedures.
• Check in/out third-party drivers, verify credentials, and ensure proper documentation and manifest accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of industry experience
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred
• Regularly lift, push, pull 25–35 lbs; occasionally carry up to 50 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a pallet jack or equipment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
