Job Title: Strength and Conditioning Coach
Reports To: Head Coach / Director of Performance / General Manager

Position Overview
The Dallas Bulls are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead the physical preparation and performance development of the team’s athletes. This role focuses on optimizing athletic performance, reducing injury risk, and supporting recovery through scientifically grounded training programs tailored to individual and team needs.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development
Design and implement year-round strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs that align with sport-specific demands and the competitive calendar.
Customize training protocols based on individual athlete profiles, positional needs, and performance goals.
Incorporate mobility, recovery, and injury prevention strategies into training plans.
Training & Supervision
Lead all weight room and on-field/off-court training sessions with energy, discipline, and attention to detail.
Monitor training loads and make real-time adjustments based on athlete feedback, performance data, and collaboration with medical staff.
Ensure proper technique, safety, and training compliance among all athletes.
Work closely with athletic trainers, team doctors, nutritionists, and sport coaches to develop an integrated high-performance plan.
Participate in return-to-play protocols and reconditioning programs for injured athletes.
Communicate regularly with coaching staff regarding player readiness, progress, and any performance concerns.
Utilize performance technology (e.g., GPS, force plates, velocity tracking) to monitor workload and track physical metrics.
Maintain training logs and reports to analyze trends, progress, and program effectiveness.
Facility & Equipment Management
Oversee weight room operations, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, safe training environment.
Recommend and evaluate new equipment, tools, or resources to enhance team performance.
Qualifications
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA or SCCC certification through the CSCCa.
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in strength and conditioning, preferably with elite collegiate or professional athletes.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
Deep knowledge of sport-specific training principles, biomechanics, and periodization.
Strong leadership and motivational skills.
Ability to build trust and rapport with athletes while demanding accountability.
Proficiency with performance tracking software and sports science tools.
