Company Overview

D1 is an athletic-based group training facility for adults and youth athletes ages 7 and up. Our mission is to provide the best fitness philosophy and facility, empowering athletes to improve by reaching their goals efficiently and consistently. Our coaches are the catalysts who implement and instill the D1 philosophy into every workout, tailoring programs to each athlete's needs and monitoring progress to ensure success.

Job Summary
  • Create a positive, motivating environment for all athletes. Maximize retention through excellent coaching, training, nutrition guidance, and accountability. Regular check-ins with athletes are essential.
  • Lead coach meetings, provide feedback, and oversee athletic programming to ensure top-quality experiences.
  • Participate in membership sales and upselling, with sales commissions as an incentive.
  • Handle hiring, firing, training, and certification of coaching staff.
  • Dedicate yourself to improving our members’ lives, including youth, adults, and teams, by demonstrating passion, expertise, energy, and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure timely start and end of workouts, assess and align programs, build relationships, coach various workout formats, and deliver industry-leading advice on strength, speed, and nutrition.
  • Teach proper form and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Foster a motivating environment.
  • Enhance member retention.
  • Lead athlete events like combines and community activities.
  • Manage a team of full-time and part-time coaches.
  • Provide personalized movement modifications and reduce injury risk through proper technique.
Qualifications
  • Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Certifications in Strength and Conditioning, Personal Training, or related fields.
  • CSCS certification preferred or willingness to pursue it.
  • At least 3 years of strength & conditioning experience in group, team, or personal training.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
  • Experience with collegiate or professional sports is a plus.
