Position Title: Assistant Athletic Director – Strength & Conditioning
Classification: Exempt, 10-month position (August- May)
Reports to: Athletic Director
Pay Rate: $75,000-$85,000, based on experience
Supervises: Subset of coaches, as assigned by the Athletic Director

Position Summary
Presentation is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Director for Strength & Conditioning. The purpose of the position is to implement a robust strength & conditioning program to fully engage our student population as well as support the functions of the athletic department, ensuring the implementation for our mission across the athletic program.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
- Model for students, student-athletes, coaches, faculty/staff, parents, and members of the community the mission and values of Presentation High School.
- Work with the Athletic Director to execute and assess the efficacy of the Athletic Department's vision and goals.
- Implement sport-specific strength and conditioning programs for in-season and out-of-season athletes.
- Incorporate nutrition guidance and education across the athletic program.
- Develop strength and fitness opportunities for the general student population.
- Teach a strength and conditioning course as part of our PE curriculum.
- Coordinate maintenance and equipment purchasing plans with the athletic director of head of facilities.
- Serve as a site director/representative during assigned home games and post-season contests.
- Assist the Athletic Director with seasonal Coach and Parent Meetings.
- Support the scheduling and logistics communications and planning needs of the athletic department.
- Support the hiring process for coaches, including interview coordination.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- B.A. degree is required, with a Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization preferred (Human Performance, Kinesiology, Athletic Administration, Sports Management, etc.).
- Appropriate certification and proven leadership (5+ years) designing and leading strength and conditioning sessions (CSCS, etc.)
- Experience working in Athletic leadership; experience in independent schools, especially Catholic schools strongly preferred.
- Current first aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Experience working with college or high school-aged female student-athletes is preferred.

The Assistant Athletic Director for Strength & Conditioning must be able to:
- Lift and/or carry up to 50lbs+ of athletic equipment
- Spend a considerable amount of the day on their feet and leading/demonstrating workouts
- Some time spent walking around campus
- Spend time at a desk using a computer
- Hear and speak using phone system
- Work with frequent interruptions
Work Environment
This position is a combination of office work and supervising programming around campus, including outdoors.
