Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Manager

San Jose, CA | Full-Time | Mechanical Group

Salary: $130,000/year + Quarterly Performance Bonus

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and train a growing team of commercial HVAC-R technicians
• Conduct in-field quality control and on-the-job training (~20% field-based)
• Manage work order flow, approve estimates, and oversee PO processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key local customers
• Collaborate with HR on technician recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding
• Support operational efficiency and financial performance in your market

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC-R service
• Deep technical expertise across:
• Commercial package units (5T+)
• Chillers (up to 150 tons)
• Boilers, air compressors, and advanced control systems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to balance office leadership with field work
• Commitment to coaching, accountability, and customer satisfaction
