We are currently seeking Production Workers for our Slab Conditioning Operations in Brackenridge, PA. This role will play a pivotal part in the production and performance of our facility.
Essential Functions:
Job responsibilities include operating equipment and performing tasks such as:
- General Labor
- Operate both small and large mobile equipment
- Operate cranes using a remote radio control box or in an overhead cab
- Work with a team in the various facilities to produce world class products.
- Some tasks require routine interaction with computer interfaces.
- Assist and support routine maintenance activities
Basic Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a transferrable industry with transferrable skills.
- Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension. Ability to read instructions, do basic math and perform simple measurements is critical.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Vo-Tech Certificate or associate degree in electrical, mechanical or other related curriculum
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability and willingness to operate and/or maintain a variety of operating units,
- Work shifts, weekends, and overtime in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely as a team member.
- Reading, math & problem-solving skills with electrical or mechanical aptitude.
