Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician Job at Allegiance Group in New York

Overview

We are a well-established mechanical contractor specializing in commercial HVAC solutions across all five boroughs of New York City. With continued growth, we are looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and clients to deliver reliable, high-quality service for projects spanning office buildings, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, and more.

Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections.
• Service rooftop units, split systems, VRF systems, boilers, and chillers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service while communicating clearly with clients and team members.
• Adhere to all safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial HVAC Service Technician.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, controls, and refrigerants.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls daily.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
