Overview

Position: Security Analyst (Mobile Threat & Malware Analysis)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform static/dynamic analysis of malicious Android apps (APKs) and SDKs.
• Reverse engineer to uncover malicious behaviors, evasion, and exploitation techniques.
• Identify and analyze spyware, trojans, rootkits, and advanced mobile malware.
• Monitor network traffic to detect C2 activity and data exfiltration.
• Develop and present detailed technical reports with executive summaries.
• Present findings to clients and address technical queries.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts when required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in security assessments, design reviews, and/or threat modeling.
• Strong background in malware analysis, reverse engineering, and secure development.

Must-Have Experience

• Security Techniques: Static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis.
• Android Internals: App lifecycle, permissions, DEX structure.
• Reverse Engineering: Ghidra, IDA Pro, Frida, Jadx, Burp Suite.
• Detection & Automation: YARA rules, threat detection pipeline automation, custom scripts.
• Scripting: Python/Bash for automation and efficiency.
