Merchandiser - Coca-Cola Bottling of Hawaii

Overview

Responsible for daily stocking, rotating, pulling of products, and product displays at customer locations in a timely and accurate manner. Work under minimal to direct supervision to ensure work meets customer needs and company goals. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety and housekeeping policies.

Responsibilities

• Daily visits to customer locations to merchandise and maintain products through stocking, rotating, dusting, and building displays.
• Stock and rotate products on the floor, in coolers, bins, or shelves according to product information.
• Examine stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and ensure products meet distribution standards.
• Perform duties on time, efficiently, accurately, safely, and in a time-sensitive manner during non-peak hours when required by customers.
• Document the number of products received, distributed, or set aside due to damage or expiration.
• Participate in on-the-job training related to merchandiser procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area by discarding trash and empty boxes at each account.
• Display promotional materials and signage according to company and store policies.
• Build displays according to Supervisor/Sales Representatives directions.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance
• Must have a good driving record and reliable transportation to accounts
• Physically capable of lifting cases and display units up to 70 pounds repeatedly
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
• Prior retail stocking experience preferred

Physical Demands

• Constant lifting/moving/pushing/pulling of 27-55 pounds; occasional lifting/pushing/pulling up to 170 pounds
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and dexterity requirements typical of field merchandising roles

Work Environment

• Moderate noise level; occasional higher noise due to external factors

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience

• $500 employment bonus after 6 months and $500 after 12 months
