What Does a CDL Driver do at Swire Coca-Cola?

In this role, you will operate a commercial motor vehicle and play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our beverages to customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations. Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to traffic and weather conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safety and cargo integrity.
• Safely load and unload beverage products using proper handling techniques. Stock products and maintain back rooms/back stock as requested. Pick up and return pallets, shells, and assigned product at each location.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Use electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records. Communicate with supervisors and dispatchers about delivery progress, delays, or issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships with store managers and staff.
• Maintain a valid CDL-A license.
• Complete all assigned training and attend meetings as needed; assist with special projects and events.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent
• CDL-A License required
• Interstate License required
• Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Driving record must meet Swire\'s vehicle policy requirements
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed; flexible with schedules, routes, and delivery demands
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly lift/move heavy beverage cases
