What does an Order Builder do?

As a member of our Warehouse team, you will help ensure that our customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so their stores are fully stocked with our products. You will build delivery loads with a variety of products onto pallets to fill customer orders in preparation for shipment and ensure accurate order fulfillment. This work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment using powered industrial trucks while adhering to warehouse safety standards at all times.

Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 4:00 pm to 5:00 am
Pay: $19.50

Responsibilities

• Utilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck) to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallets
• Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure the order is secure for transport before loading into the truck
• Stage completed pallets in designated shipping areas
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation
• Complete training requirements
• Restock product in picking areas as needed
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Prior experience using a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift preferred
• Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire date
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; may be repetitive
