What Does an Autonomous Maintenance Specialist do at Swire Coca-Cola?

As part of a high-performing team committed to World Class Manufacturing, your role ensures safety first and fosters continuous improvement, focusing on zero operational defects. You will work closely with line mechanical specialists to develop autonomous and preventive maintenance capabilities, particularly in electrical, power, controls, and information systems, while maintaining, troubleshooting, and recommending control changes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Job Details:

Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm (Mon - Fri, OT as needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily line meetings and report on operational metrics such as breakdowns and defect resolutions.
  • Coach and support the line team in executing maintenance plans and developing technicians’ inspection skills.
  • Lead segments of the 90-day loss elimination and annual maintenance plans.
  • Partner with maintenance specialists to lead breakdown elimination and maintenance scheduling, focusing on electrical and control systems.
  • Update technical documentation and develop work instructions for maintenance tasks.
  • Support troubleshooting and program controls equipment to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or technical certification preferred, especially in electrical engineering, automation, or control systems.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with automation and control systems in manufacturing (High School diploma required); 2 years with a bachelor's degree/technical certification.
  • Proficiency with PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, electrical design, and industrial hardware.
  • Strong planning and execution skills for process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, networks, and industrial instrumentation.
  • Leadership ability to guide manufacturing technicians and collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends to support 24/7 operations.
