Responsibilities
Diesel Maintenance Technician (B) will repair and maintain all types of customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment; perform job duties independently with limited supervision; provide mentoring and assistance to Vehicle Technician C's as needed.
Shifts and Compensation
- Shifts: Mon-Fri, 2:00-10:30pm
- Pay rate starting at: $28.50/hr+, depending on skillset and experience
- Additional $1.50 shift differential

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Basic welding and cutting torch operation skills
- Basic electrical, mechanical diagnostics, and repair skills
- Understanding of tire inspection systems
- Knowledge and ability to mount and dismount tires
- Basic diagnostic tool skills
- Ability to schedule and prioritize daily tasks
- Must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards
- Professional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customers
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions with tools, equipment, machinery and materials used to power, hand, diagnostic tools operate material handling equipment
- Must be capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractors; working conditions
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to vary the start and finish times, possibly including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills
- Each technician needs to provide their own tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification
