Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement, display, and availability in retail stores, including stocking shelves, rotating products, and building displays.
• Maintain product on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers by identifying replenishment needs.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using manual equipment.
• Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns in accordance with company guidelines; set up promotional displays and signage to attract customer attention and drive sales.
• Secure damaged or defective product while maintaining a clean product space.
• Ensure accurate product counts by properly managing backrooms and organizing backstock.
• Operate manual and powered handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand-truck).
• Maintain areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to store and company personnel.
• Follow company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to drive collaboration and maximize merchandising opportunities; provide excellent customer service for inquiries or concerns.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, and pull up to 40-55 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend, and reach.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time; ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within policy guidelines.

Compensation & Schedule

• Compensation: $24/hour plus mileage
• Schedule: 5 days a week, 6am until route is finished
