What You’ll Do
- Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations. Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to traffic and weather conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Safely load and unload beverage products using proper handling techniques. May stock beverage products and maintain back rooms/back stock areas as requested. Pick up and return pallets, shells, and assigned product at delivery locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report maintenance or safety issues.
- Utilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with logistics to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Communicate with supervisors and dispatchers about delivery progress, delays, or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle; interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships with store managers and staff.
- Complete all required training and attend meetings or assist with special projects and events as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED) and/or equivalent degree/certificate required
- Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed; flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and delivery demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; physical capability to lift and move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day
Job Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $30.00/hr
