Job Title: Muse (Sales Associate)

Primary Purpose: The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to deliver excellent guest experiences and contribute to store performance.

Responsibilities

• Hosting: Give guests a warm welcome, exuding confidence and proper etiquette. Develop long-term relationships by engaging guests with thoughtful questions and inviting outreach ideas.
• Team Building: Work effectively as part of a team, give and receive feedback honestly, and celebrate colleagues’ successes.
• Styling & Curating: Communicate the Kate Spade New York aesthetic, tell stories with product knowledge, and maintain a polished appearance. Keep stockroom and shop organized and clean.
• Business Smarts: Understand the product landscape across merchandise categories and multitask between operational tasks, shop floor responsibilities, and POS transactions. Share ideas and feedback with the team.

Qualifications

The accomplished individual will possess: professional selling skills and strong interpersonal abilities; prior luxury goods experience preferred; proactive multitasking and prioritization; ability to work well in a team environment; college degree preferred; physical ability to work store schedule including evenings and weekends; ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds; comfortable climbing ladders.
