Are you looking for a summer job, love working with kids, and are interested in pediatric healthcare? Gain experience and make an impact by joining The Kidz Club's mission to 'Let Kidz be kids'! Our seasonal nursing staff bring energy and excitement to our summer curriculum, playing an essential role in client/family care coordination in a multidisciplinary approach. The seasonal nursing staff includes LPNs and RNs. They are responsible for providing care to pediatric patients based on individual needs and care plans, engaging in activities, themes, and field trips that enrich the summer experience for those interested in healthcare, teaching, or therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure in Kentucky.
• Recent graduates with a provisional license are encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic charting systems.
• Preferred: Six months of pediatric nursing experience.
• Current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD).
• Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.

Positions Available

• Seasonal Full-time
• Seasonal Part-time, depending on center needs and availability

Starting Rate

• RN: $26.00-$30.00/hour
• LPN: $21.00-$24.00/hour
• Rates increase with experience based on predefined criteria.

The Kidz Club PPEC offers daily skilled nursing care for children from birth to under 21 with medical complexities. We facilitate communication among pediatricians, therapists, and families to ensure continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment activities, aiming to improve each child's quality of life.
