The opportunity
Delaware North Travel is hiring full-time Warehouse Clerks to join our team at Buffalo Airport in Buffalo, New York. As a Warehouse Clerk, you may work across shipping, receiving, and inventorying or be dedicated to a specific team.
On July 10, 2025, Delaware North announced its US-based Travel Hospitality Services (THS) business will be sold to Areas, a global leader in travel dining and retail. The sale is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2025. Upon completion of the sale, all THS team members will become part of Areas. What will you do?
- Unload, unpack, and inspect shipments of products. Report any damage, missing items, or inconsistencies as directed.
- Pricing items with appropriate mark-ups and labeling with the size and color for inventory control.
- Maintain the recycling program, collecting cardboard and placing in the appropriate areas.
- Assist in the maintenance of merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers within the inventory system.
- Assist in physicalinventories.
- Inform supervisor of any low or over abundance in stock.
- Ensure that all work areas are neat clean and organized with strong attention to safety.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
More about you
- At least one year experience working in a warehouse.
- Experience receiving using a data entry system, inventorying, and shipping.
- Computer knowledge and good communication skills.
- Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle counts accurately.
Physical requirements
- Must have the ability to carry and lift up to 55 pounds and stand all day.
- Frequent bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching above the shoulders.
