WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN I

Keep operations on track and your career in motion as a Warehouse Technician II at GDIT. Your work supporting supply chain and logistics at GDIT will power global missions and your long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Ships and Receives materials in a warehouse.
• Maintains effective warehouse storage practices.
• Maintains warehouse and shipping records and may use automated warehouse management system.
• May operate hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling.
• Maintains and controls calibrated tools.
• Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of related warehouse experience.
• Skills: Innovation, Materials Handling, Shipping, Special Projects, Warehouse Storage.
• Certifications: None.
• US Citizenship Required: Yes.

Work Details

• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
• Travel Required: Less than 10%
• Telecommuting Options: Onsite
• Work Location: USA VA Chesapeake

Compensation and Benefits

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $15.30 - $20.70. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
