Warehouse Specialist Job at Coleman Worldwide Moving in Kapolei

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist will process incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse and organize the warehouse to ensure efficient shipment storage. Compensation ranges from $15 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist in loading and unloading trucks and/or containers for interstate commerce.
2. Crate and uncrate shipments, including stenciling, labeling, and banding.
3. Clean and organize the warehouse.
4. Check in and out shipments and maintain an up-to-date locator file.
5. Deliver shipments as needed.
6. Operate forklift as required.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of company systems.
• Ability to make decisions related to warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience in logistics and transportation preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Mainly indoor environment.
• Frequent lifting of over 40 lbs.
• Majority of the time spent standing or walking.
