Warehouse Associate Position

HF Foods Group Inc. Primary Functions:

We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
• Organizing the warehouse space
• Preparing orders for shipment
• Operating stock management tools, such as a forklift or pallet jack
• Counting stock and maintaining inventory records
• Performing other duties as assigned

Skills And Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of records, inventories, and routine documentation used in warehouses
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Hardworking and dependable
• Drug screening will be required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform activities requiring hours of lifting, standing, and carrying
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds

Education And/or Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience
• Forklift certification preferred

Work Conditions:

• Office and warehouse environment
• Occasional standing or sitting for extended periods
• Wearing appropriate PPE as required
• Exposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises
• Frequent use of computer and telephone
• Regular communication with team members throughout the day
