Aquifysystems is hiring: Warehouse Clerk in Dallas

About the position

We are looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join our team to help receive and ship products and maintain organization in the warehouse. The Warehouse Clerk must ensure that all products remain in good condition when packed and keep the warehouse operating efficiently at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving products and checking them for damage
• Returning any damaged products
• Storing various warehouse items in their designated areas
• Keeping inventory records of all items in stock
• Verifying each order’s specific information, such as the shipping date, preferred method of shopping
• Preparing packages for shipping and sending them to customers while following company procedures
• Placing labels on outgoing products according to company policies, with elements like barcodes to help customers identify their packages
• Maintaining communications with third parties, such as manufacturers and suppliers, and receiving new merchandise from them
• Unpacking items that manufacturers and suppliers send to the warehouse and storing them following company protocols
• Using computer software to track inventory items incoming and leaving the warehouse
• Receiving returned products from customers, examining them for various types of damage, and ensuring that the shipping department resolves the issues before resending them
• Interacting with customers to provide order status
• Loading and wrap skids for shipping
• Assisting the production team with light product assembly tasks when necessary
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Warehouse Clerk or similar role
• Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery
• Strong attention to detail
• High regard for workplace safety
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Experience using computer software to track inventory and shipments
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with a partly remote team
• Familiarity with Workplace by Google and DEAR Systems ERP would be an advantage

• $45K to $55K salary range, based on qualifications and experience
