American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking for a Warehouse Specialist at our Lakewood, WA 98499 location. Must have warehouse experience and be able to move furniture inside the warehouse, deliver and pick up in a safe manner.

Salary: DOE $20-22 per hour.

Basic Function

Responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Load trucks using a scan gun
• Compare driver's paperwork to NAV
• Check NAV to ensure all has been collected; if not, search offload
• Post all collections and deliveries
• Confirm all paperwork and pickups via Logistics Dashboard
• Touch up and reclass merchandise in warehouse
• Lift, carry and place product into and take out of racks
• Inspect merchandise for damages or breakage prior to shipment or warehouse storage
• Record all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork
• Complete inventory preparation for warehouse stock
• Stage merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed
• Fill customer order in accordance with Pick Tickets, complete appropriate paperwork, and place a copy with the merchandise for shipment
• Scan all orders and print pre-shipment paperwork as appropriate
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand trucks
• Always maintain a neat and orderly workplace
• All warehouse personnel are required to sweep up and remove disposables
• Follow safety procedures in accordance with training, and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Training: Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Prior warehouse experience helpful.
