Warehouse Supervisor - Fort Morgan, CO
Within our Fort Morgan, CO manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified Warehouse Supervisor for our Warehouse team to continue advancing our organization's standards in food quality, safety, and production efficiencies.
At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $77,000 and $92,000, with an annual target bonus of 10%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of inventory control for incoming production materials (excluding milk) to prevent shortages.
- Determine product availability to fulfill customer orders.
- Apply shipping specifications within company policy.
- Manage inventory expenses by selecting cost-efficient suppliers and maintaining minimal inventories.
- Supervise receipt of cheese and/or powder from other locations and maintain inventory control of all purchased and manufactured cheese, QLC, and whey powder.
- Plan and schedule daily staffing to maximize labor efficiency and meet production needs.
- Lead and coach warehouse team employees through technical training, safety, quality, communication, performance recognition, and development programs to promote engagement and efficiency.
- Maintain strong working relationships and foster a positive work environment.
- Reinforce company and plant policies fairly and consistently.
- Ensure all team members complete required training and address employee questions and concerns.
- Monitor operations and recommend improvements for labor, manufacturing efficiency, cost savings, and quality.
- Implement safety programs to ensure compliance and a safe workplace.
- Ensure safety standards are met, and the workplace is hazard-free.
- Provide necessary training, equipment, and tools for safe job performance.
- Lead safety practices and participate in investigations and corrective actions.
- Manage the department’s quality systems to meet quality objectives.
- Coordinate sanitation efforts to meet food safety standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing packaging, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- At least 2 years of progressive leadership in a warehouse, logistics, or materials management role.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields.
- Familiarity with SAP Warehouse Management.
- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
