Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex SS17
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: £12.21 p/h
Start Date: Immediate start available

SHIFTS: Mon - Sun (MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH DAYS) Days/Nights shifts from 6.30am

Please Note: Due to the location of the site, all candidates must have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy client in Stanford-le-Hope. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including picking and packing, loading/unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
• Sort, move, and store stock within the warehouse
• Carry out regular stock checks and report discrepancies
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
• Follow company processes and procedures for handling goods
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out operations
• Use handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
• Support team members and contribute to smooth daily operations

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Flexibility to work overtime or shift patterns when required
