Main Ingredients of the Job

As a US FOODS Night Warehouse Selector, you will be responsible for preparing customer orders that grow our business, with safety as a top priority. We TEAM UP to deliver exact and damage-free orders. Your efforts as a Night Warehouse Selector are the foundation of US FOODS' success, based on our cultural pillars, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday, with possible weekends and holidays
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity roles preferred
• Experience with lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment preferred

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment from -5 to over 100 degrees
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs., moving 1,000+ cases per shift

Compensation depends on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other factors. The expected base rate is between $19.83 and $31.00 per hour.

Additional compensation may include overtime, productivity and quality incentives, and freezer premium.
