Overview

Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices and home care/hospice settings. Medline is seeking a Warehouse Lead to support the leadership team in overseeing warehouse operations to ensure on-time shipment and receiving for all customer orders. The Warehouse Lead coordinates and directs all department workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse employees through the shift by ensuring the team is set up for success to work safely and productively, and serve as the point of escalation for daily operations.
• Anticipate and coordinate scheduling to ensure effective and accurate workflow; monitor deliveries, cleaning schedules and maintenance priorities.
• Train and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety and Medline values.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership regarding daily operations.
• Assist with moving products within the facility to meet customer needs with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate order receipt and shipment.
• Contribute to projects and ideas to improve quality, efficiency and customer experience.

Required Experience

• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate goals and processes to team members and customers.
• Must have a high sense of urgency and strong customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in SAP, Catalyst, arithmetic, and English communication.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Salary and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $23.00 - $32.25 per hour. Actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles with less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions and access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
