Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager in their Ruther Glen, VA facility. This person will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material handling, maintaining accurate inventory, and support project needs. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing inventory processes, and leading efforts to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
Shift
- 1st shift only - typically ~6:00am-4:00pm Mon-Fri
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.
- Develop and enforce policies for material handling, storage, and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule deliveries and maintain a consistent supply of materials.
- Maintain detailed inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and ensure materials meet project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials and address non-conforming items.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain secure storage of sensitive materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to forecast material needs and support job site requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong skills in inventory management, process development, and vendor coordination.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other inventory management tools.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel locally as needed.
