SUMMARY CEI, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator for LANL C-2541. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, excavation, and other related activities. This role requires a strong focus on safety, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with project teams to ensure efficient completion of tasks. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, forklifts, and other machinery as required. Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Conduct site preparation, excavation, grading, trenching, and material movement. Maintain equipment by cleaning, fueling, and performing minor repairs or adjustments. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other site personnel to meet project deadlines. Monitor job site conditions to identify potential hazards and report issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of daily equipment use, maintenance, and project progress. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid heavy equipment operator certification or license. Proven experience operating heavy machinery in construction or related fields. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of equipment maintenance and basic repair procedures. Outdoor work in diverse weather conditions. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
