Travel Heavy Equipment Operator – $28–$35/hr + $830/Week Per Diem
Equipment: Scraper operators and Haul Truck operators
Location: Projects in New Mexico and Indiana
Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6AM–6PM (occasional Saturdays)
Overtime: 20–35 hours/week
A well-known civil construction company is hiring experienced heavy equipment operators for travel work across multiple states. This is a solid opportunity to earn great money, rack up overtime, and work with a crew that gets the job done.

Job Duties
-
Operate tractors (Fendt preferred), dozers, excavators, and motor graders
-
Handle earthwork: cuts, fills, haul roads

Perform equipment inspections before and after shifts

Work closely with other operators and site crews

Follow all safety protocols
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience in civil or commercial construction
-
Skilled in grading, earthmoving, and operating rollers, discs, and box blades
-
Valid driver’s license preferred

Must be able to travel and work outdoors in all conditions
Work Conditions

Outdoor construction sites, often on converted farmland

Fast-paced, high-activity environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
