Job Overview

360 Services of VA is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to support our growing construction and infrastructure projects across Virginia. This role is ideal for operators who are proficient in operating heavy machinery, have a clean driving record, and take pride in being a critical part of the construction process. If you're reliable, punctual, and skilled in transporting materials to job sites safely and efficiently, we'd love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment such as Mini excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders, and compactors on civil and utility construction sites.
  • Perform grading, trenching, excavation, and site preparation activities according to project specifications.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete daily tasks and project goals.
  • Adapt to new equipment operating methods and techniques as needed.
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism on all job assignments.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency in using excavators, skid steers, dozers, and other machinery.
  • Experience with GPS systems is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Valid Driver's License required; CDL Class A preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (company-provided training available).
  • Willingness to assist with general labor when needed on-site
  • Strong work ethic with a positive and motivated attitude.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must pass a DOT drug screening and background check

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (Full-Time)
  • Hours will be defined based on project needs

Location

  • Onsite across Virginia - primarily on VDOT and municipal project sites
