Heavy Equipment Operator Job at Road-Con Inc. in New York

Location: Southeastern PA, South Jersey, Delaware

Road-Con is looking for skilled Equipment Operators to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will have the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy construction equipment, including Excavators, Bulldozers, Drilling machines, Concrete pumps, Cranes, Rollers, Frontend Loaders, Backhoes, Pavers, Milling Machines and more, depending on job requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy construction equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth.
• Erect structural and reinforcing steel, pour concrete, and place asphalt.
• Work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
• Drive machines and control various equipment attachments such as drills, hammers, grapples, and sheers.
• Grease, inspect, and report mechanical issues prior to operating equipment.
• Comply with PA One Call requirements when working around public utilities.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure the safety of other employees and the public.

Requirements:

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL and/or DOT medical card may be required).
• Flexibility to work daytime and nighttime shifts based on project demands.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in heavy construction or related fields.
• Knowledge of PA One Call requirements.
