Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Working in Multiple States

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 95%

Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:

1. Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators, etc.)
2. Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
3. Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
4. Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
5. Install &/or remove loader attachments
6. Coordinate to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
7. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment
8. Climb onto, into, and out of equipment using ladder
9. Walk and work on uneven surfaces
10. Demonstrate bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
11. Work productively in personal protective equipment throughout the shift in all weather conditions
12. Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
13. Maintain regular and predictable performance

Education / Experience:

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprenticeship

Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1. Responsible and safety-minded
2. Knowledge of using multiple equipment such as hammer, shear, grapple, and/or bucket
3. Ability to distinguish among various debris & scrap materials
4. Ability to collaborate and work with a team
