Landfill is located at 4107 S Sam Houston Pkwy W Houston, TX 77053. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment at our solid waste landfill.WHY YOU NEED TO JOIN US:* CULTURE: It’s a Great place to work! We work in an environment where empowered, self-directed All-stars know what they do is important.* INTEGRITY: Our definition is “saying what you will do and then doing it!” We keep our promises to our customers and our employees.** Job Duties:*** Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor* Spreading daily cover using a Dozer* Excavating soil using an excavator* Maintaining haul roads using a grader* Hauling soil* Work in a fast paced, team environment* Follow safe operating practices* Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer serviceWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:* Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.* The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
