Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Working in Multiple States

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 95%

Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators, etc.)
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
• Install &/or remove loader attachments
• Coordinate to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment
• Climb onto, into, and out of equipment using ladder
• Work on uneven surfaces with agility
• Demonstrate bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
• Work productively in personal protective equipment in all weather conditions
• Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Maintain regular and predictable performance

Education / Experience:

HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprenticeship

Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Responsible and safety-minded
• Knowledge of multiple equipment such as hammer, shear, grapple, and/or bucket
• Ability to distinguish among various debris & scrap materials
• Ability to collaborate and work with a team
