Responsibilities

  • Operate front end loader to manage fuel mix for boilers and related equipment, including unloading fuel trucks and maintaining fuel storage as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on front end loader, fuel truck, bark conveying systems, and maintain housekeeping in daily cleanup areas.
  • Demonstrate continuous growth of knowledge and skill to safely operate and maintain boiler systems.
  • Process through boiler PSQ manuals and field certification, showing continuous improvements in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Complete minor repairs to equipment and perform greasing and basic care routes on all equipment within powerhouse responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment moving materials.
  • At least 3 years of work history in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating wheel loaders moving wood chips and bark.
  • Experience in boiler operation or high purity water treatment.
  • Previous experience in fire protection systems.
  • Experience in a powerhouse and/or recovery/utilities area for a manufacturing or industrial environment.
