Responsibilities:

• Full site development experience
• Installation of underground conduit duct banks
• Rough grading and finish grading
• Erosion and sediment control
• Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards
• Construction of cast in place light pole foundations
• Interpreting construction drawings
• Keep time and material records
• Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading;
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications
• Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor
• Material handling
• Teamwork
• Safety

Requirements:

• Previous equipment operation experience required
• Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and excavators, strongly
• Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols of the equipment aforementioned
• Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more
• Must be able to hand dig
• Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.
• Experience in the commercial site work, trenching, conduit installation, excavation, landscape, hardscape,
• Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
