Base pay range

$26.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators Needed

Temp-Stop Excavating and Underground Utilities, a division of the Temp-Stop Convenience Stores, is seeking self-motivated individuals. 2 years experience required.

Compensation Based Upon Experience For Heavy Equipment Operator.

Health and Dental Insurance, Vacation Pay, Year End Bonus.

Job Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience operating bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, scrapers, and graders. Must have own transportation, be highly motivated, willing to travel. Drug screen, physical, and criminal background check required. CDL a plus, but not required. Valid D.L if offered a company vehicle.

Basic Responsibilities

Performs duties on construction projects, usually working in a utility capacity, transferring between tasks.

Activities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, and backhoes.
• Operate routinely used tools and equipment.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, and records.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew members in response to signals.
• Work independently once directed on a task.
• Obey all safety rules on the job site.
• Maintain good relationships with co-workers.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally; 40-50 pounds frequently, and other physical activities. Must work outdoors.
