Operator, Experienced Heavy Equipment – Gregory Construction

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team, where you will operate a variety of construction equipment to ensure the successful completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials using trucks, power cranes, shovels, or related equipment.
  • Operate machines to spread, smooth, and level materials on road beds or other job sites as needed.
  • Observe grade to adjust machine settings and indicate.
  • Conduct documented pre-shift inspections of equipment for safety and mechanical defects.
  • Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and extended periods outdoors in all seasons.
  • Coordinate machine actions in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
  • Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment using mechanics\' hand tools.
  • Know and follow safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required or directed by supervision.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (including drug screen and background check).

Qualifications

  • 5 years (Required) in the civil construction industry.
  • 5 years (Required) verifiable experience in equipment operations.
  • Driver’s License.
  • Travel will be required.
