Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders at recycling facilities and landfills in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; maintain accurate records.
• Move and position raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Hours, Location & Benefits

• Monday - Friday every week; 5:30am-4:00pm or 7:00am-5:30pm; every third Saturday.
• Normal setting for this job is our landfill.
• Starting salary of $22 per hour.

• Normal setting for this job is a shop or field.
• Requires full use of motor coordination and ability to handle objects; may involve exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and other typical conditions of landfill and recycling facilities.
